Elijah's Grey Wolf Day Hike Grand Clifftop Walk

Participants are to meet at the Blacktown Showground Community Garden Carpark at 8:00am. Participants will then walk to Blacktown Train Station to catch the 8:23am train to Leura. After arriving in Leura we will walk to the start of the hike at Gordon Falls Lookout Picnic Area to start the Grand Clifftop Walk. We are completing the Day One leg of the hike in the reverse direction from Leura to Wentworth Falls. The hike is rated a Graded 3 (moderately experience walkers) and is 11km in length and is achievable for participants across all sections. We will the then follow the walking track to Wentworth Falls before catching the train back to Blacktown Station.

Please note that the full hike is designed to be done over 2 days whilst we are only doing the first day of the hike and we are doing it in the reverse direction to what is indicated on the link provided.

Should parents have concerns about their child's ability to complete the 11km hike in its entirety a pick-up point has been nominated for parents who wish to pick up their child at the 7.8km point at the Wentworth Falls Car park which we should arrive at by 2:30pm. Please inform the leaders of your concerns and if you intend to collect your Scout or Cub at this point.
