5 Day Sailing Course

This is a 5 Day Sailing Workshop held at Lake Chipping Norton in Liverpool. Each day commences at 9.00am and finishes at 3.00pm. Please wear uniform each day and bring a change of clothes for wearing on the water, including emclosed footwear. (Crocs not suitable) Swimming costume is good and a wet suit if you have one. Don't forget hat and sun screen.

Please bring lunch and snacks each day. There are no local shops.

There is some theory to cover so please bring a pen. We will provide workbooks. All equipment including sailing craft, life jackets etc. will be provided. 

Course includes capsizing, rowing, some basic navigation, tides, weather, water safety and of course sailing skills.

Outcome will include a ecord of attendance. Please bring an Activities LogBook (if you have one) to be signed off.

The workshop is run under Yachting Aust rules for begonner sailors, under the instruction of both Keith Travers & John van den Burg.
