• Leaders: Free

• Participants: $10 per person

Each session is limited to 10 participants

Please note: Participants must bring their own snorkel, mask, and fins

Brief Summary:

Summer Snorkelling at Shelly Beach
Come and explore one of Sydney’s best snorkelling destinations — Cabbage Tree Bay! Thanks to a recent grant, all snorkelling gear will be provided, so no personal equipment is needed. Each session will include a safety briefing, gear fitting, and guided exploration of the bay’s amazing marine life.

Additional Information:

Meet at the upper car park at Shelly Beach.

What to Bring:

• Please note: Participants must bring their own snorkel, mask, and fins

• Swimwear, including a rashie (recommended)

• Change of clothes

• Towel

• Water

• Snacks

• Hat (for use on the beach)

• Sun protection (reef-safe sunscreen preferred)

• Water shoes (recommended for walking across rocks)

Important Notes:

• Participants must be able to swim confidently.

• It is expected that participants have completed, or are operating at the level of, OAS Stage 3 Aquatics.

• If you have not snorkelled before, that’s okay! Guidance and instruction will be provided as part of the session.
