Brief Summary:
This Workshop is open to Leader & Rovers of Sydney North Region.
This workshop will cover navigation techniques and skills which are essential to Bushwalking, and is required as part of the Trained Participant Bushwalking skill set. There are no pre-requisites for attending this workshop and those with existing skills are welcome to attend.
The workshop comprises two sessions:
1) an online session- Thur 6 Nov 19:30-21:30
2) an in-person practical day at Barra Brui hall- Sun 9 Nov 08:30-17:00
Note that attending this workshop does not automatically qualify you to run Scouting hikes. If you have previous hiking experience in the last three years, please submit a logbook.
