We will commence our paddle at the Morgans Creek Boat Ramp, taking advantage of an outgoing tide, and moving down river, under the Como Rail bridge before finishing at the Scylla Bay Boat Ramp at Como.
There will be a safety chat and dry demo before going on the water.
We plan to get on the water by 6pm at latest - and we need to allow time for gear and skill checks. If arriving at the departure point by 5pm presents a problem, please contact the event organiser.
Participants must wear clothes appropriate to the temperature and be ready to get wet, including closed footwear, hat and sunscreen.
Participants must at all times when in the water wear either water shoes or old shoes that can get wet. All footwear must be fully enclosed footwear. Crocs, thongs and sandals are not acceptable.
Participants will need to bring a at least 1l of water. Tie a 1m string to the bottle to tether it to the kayak so it is not lost on the river.
