Flying Fox event at Queanbeyan Show

This is the Flying Fox event at the Queanbeyan Show 2025.

If you are in the Flying Fox Team, and planning on attending our flying fox event at the Queanbeyan Show this year, please register for this activity. 

The build will occur at the Queanbeyan Showgrounds (just inside the Glebe Ave gate) from 0900h on Friday 7 November.

The fox will be operational on Saturday 8th and Sunday 9th November. 

* Tallaganda Rovers supporting this activity are also required to enrol for the purposes of confirming their attendance and for insurance coverage. 

If you are interested in doing the Flying Fox Course in 2026, this might be a good introduction. 

This is a fantastic way to keep up your Flying Fox skillsets - please bring your workbooks too. 

There is no cost to attending in joining us at the Queanbeyan Show. 

Fox Team Members who are not local will be accommodated at the 1st Jerrabomberra Scout Hall, Firethorn Place (next to Bom Funk Dance Studio in Jerrabomberra). Due to Cubs meeting, hall availability is from 8pm Thursday 6 November, through to the Show’s closure.

The event is wholly self-catered - there are full cooking facilities available at the 1st Jerrabomberra hall.
