Please note we are reaching out for Registered Adult Helpers, Rovers, Adults Leaders and Fellowship to support on these days. All adults on site must be registered with Scouts NSW. Ideally 2 or more adult members to join with Tristan and a minimum of 5 youth to proceed.
This event is taking place over 2 Saturdays. If would be possible for members to join us for single days. Please contact us by email to discuss.
Prerequsite OAS bushwalking stages 1 & 2. All you and adults require a current Scouts NSW membership number and financial status. All adults on site must be registered with Scouts NSW.
Child safety is our number one priority at Scouts NSW. Therefore, all Adult Helpers are thoroughly screened, undergo a Police Check, must hold a valid, verified Working With Children Check and undertake two online training modules to ensure the safety of our youth members.

Maroubra Beach to La Perouse via Eastern Beaches coastal walk and Cape Baily walking track 13.4 km
Dramatic cliff top views and rugged bushland make Malabar Headland National Park a popular spot for coast walks. This walk rewards you with dramatic views across beachs, bays and the Pacific Ocean beyond as you make your way to Endeavour Lighthouse at Henry Head. Moderate fitness is recommended, but your efforts are rewarded with breathtaking views around Botany Bay, from Bare Island in La Perouse to Cape Solander in Kurnell. NPWS
Start: Corner of Marine Parade and Mons Avenue Marubra 9 am (public buses arrive here from Central)
Finish: Anzac Parade La Perouse 5 pm (approximate time only)

Kurnell to Cronulla Station via Cape Baily walking track 12.7 km
Start: Cronulla Station 9 am (includes bus travel from Cronulla to Kurnell please bring your opal card)
Finish: Cronulla Station 5 pm
Your journey will take you over cliff tops with spectacular views of the ocean and the dramatic sandstone formations of this area. You’ll pass by Cape Baily lighthouse and a variety of distinctive heathland and freshwater wetlands vegetation. Depending on the season, you might also see some native orchid species. Keep an eye out for sea birds and local reptiles. NPWS
Entry level to medium grades, undulating and exposed to the sun.
There are a number of landmarks and interesting features.
Self catering applies and public transport is available to and from the venue.
