Brief Summary:
A harborside walk from Taronga Zoo wharf, along the bush track through the Angophora forest via Bradley’s Head and Chowder Bay (Clifton Gardens) to Balmoral Beach for lunch and a swim. Pick up between 1pm and 2pm by parent drivers at either Balmoral Beach near the pool or at Taronga Zoo if they have parked there and walked with us.
Additional Information

This walk is one of Sydney's most scenic harbour side walks. We will meet at 930am at Athol Hall, just up from the Taronga Zoo ferry wharf, where this walk commences. We will walk along the track through Angophora woodland past Bradley's Head and the memorial to HMAS Sydney, around the harbour foreshore to Chowder Bay. After resting and relaxing, we will continue around to Balmoral Beach where those who would like, can have a swim in the enclosed ocean pool. From Balmoral we will either meet our parents picking their scouts/cubs/venturers up or catch a bus back to Taronga Zoo if parked there. Lots to see and experience on this walk at all section levels (Cubs, Scouts and Venturers) and parents are welcome.
