Regional Bushwalking Meeting

A communication meeting and preparation day for bushwalking guides, leaders and members. An invitation to youth and adult members from GWS Region who are interested in bushwalking and would like to be involved. Scouts are encouraged to attend and may be able complete some badgework during the group work Theory.

Please wear full scout uniform.

Bring a plate of food and bottle of drink to share for afternoon tea.

It is ok if you can only attend for part of the meeting.

Meeting to be held in the Rotary Hut.

Meeting to be held within the boundary of the scout camp.

12-2 pm Gear demonstrations and maintenance ideas. GPS exercise. DIY ideas.

You are welcome to bring some of your favourite gear.

2-4 pm Discussion. Talk about region hikes coming up, qualifications, OH&S, networking and resource sharing. Q&A. Afternoon Tea.

4-6 pm Group work Theory. Workshop Preparation for hikes.

E1 form is not needed. Please complete the online registration on Scout Event by 12 pm on Saturday 11th February.
