Scouts participating in Amateur (Ham) Radio competition "John Moyle Field Day". Camping at Bowning Scout Camp site near Yass (3 hr drive). Open to any Scouts with current Amateur Radio license or anyone interested in the hobby.
Additional Information

John Moyle Field Day (part of Amateur Radio) is a Ham radio competition weekend where radio operators try to make as many contacts as possible over the weekend.  Our Region (Scouts) going to a Scout camp site near Yass (about 3 hr drive) from Friday night to Sunday afternoon.  It is full on camping in tents and camp catering.

We will meet at Bundilla Scout Camp 6:30pm Friday night and travelling to Bowning in leaders cars.  There will be a 30 minute break at Marulan or Goulburn.  Returning we will depart Bowning at 1pm and have lunch at Yass McDonald's. This should get us back to Bundilla at around 5pm.

Parents Note:  At this stage there will be one adult leader to a car of four Scouts.

The cost is $35 covering camping fee and camping food.  (Lunch food at McDonalds Yass, Scouts need to cover the cost as per their menu choice).
