Newcastle district is running their annual Leggy Point Regatta at Glenrock scout camp for the whole district to attend (Joeys, Cubs, Scouts & Venturers)the theme this year is ship wrecked, the activities are as follows, boat build, leggy point regatta, camp fire, & hike to dixon park beach where we will be finishing the campon Sunday. Cost for the weekend is $85 per person ($60 for food, $25 for district) We will be arriving and setting the camp site up on Friday Night from 7pm Scouts & Venturers will be camping in tents, please be sure to bring a tent, stretcher or air mattress to sleep in/on please discuss with your groups regarding tents. what to bring Sleeping bag, pillow, warm clothes for 2 days, toiletries, jumper and jacket, beanie, suitable shoes for walking in, hat, sunscreen, torch (any questions regarding gear to bring please contact your Group leader). Please make sure all items are marked with your child's name in case they go missing.
