Scouts will be participating in the Sydney Mardi Gras Parade on Saturday 28th February 2026!

Please note that this is a televised and highly photograhed event, much of which is outside of our control. Therefore this is not a suitable event for anyone who does not wish to be photographed or filmed. This event is also highly stimulating, with lots of noise, lights, visuals, and high energy over a long day. We have found that this is manageable for most people as long as they are prepared. As Mardi Gras is a celebration of the LGBTQIA+ community as a whole, participants can expect to see partial nudity, suggestive costumes and will be around mature themes. It is expected that all participants will conduct themselves with dignity and respect for themselves, their fellow Scouts and fellow Mardi Gras Attendees, as well as the community at large.
