Gear list

  • Your uniform and scarf over your swimmers
    • Or, bring clothes which can get wet - must wear a rashie or other shirt to cover the neck and shoulders.
  • A wide-brimmed hat or bucket hat (sun-safe hat)
  • Water shoes or shoes that can get wet
  • Towel
  • Runners and socks for land activities
  • Water bottle
  • Sunscreen
  • Carry bag or backpack to carry your belongings

No hat or water shoes, no play: per Scouts NSW policy.

What we are going to do

Water activities

  • Canoe races
  • Raft building races.

Land activities

Games such as tug o' war, three-legged races and blindfolded maze navigation (TBC).

Timings

We start at 10:00 with an opening parade.

For parents:

  • Have your children onsite no later than 09:50.
  • Note: Parking around the 1st Grays Point scout hall will be (very) limited.
  • Please drop your Cubs off at the roundabout at the bottom of Swallow Rock Drive at the scout flags.
  • From there we will guide Cubs to the 1st Grays Point Scout Hall.

Cost

  • Youth members
    1. $12.50 - includes event participation, a sausage sandwich and a drink.
    2. $7.50 - includes event participation only (no food).
  • Leaders
    1. $0.00
