Vertical Rescue SISORSC002 workshop and annual refresher

This is not a workshop for novice abseilers, rather an event to assist those with exising qualifications to transfer to the new curriculum.  We will cover the knowledge elements on Saturday morning and then work through the elements of VET Module SISORSC002.  This will include hauling systems, raise and lower rescues, self rescues, types and use of fixed and artificial achors, escape from a loaded  belay, prusick up, down, transfer to another rope etc. Applicants are expected to have their own abseil gear at this level..  Ropes, slings etc will be provided. Self catering for all meals

The course has two structures

Theory Night Thursday, both Saturday and Sunday practical for those who do not hold SISORSC002 (Perform Vertical Rescues) $40

Just the Sunday for those who need to do a refresher and already hold SISORSC002 (Perform Vertical Rescues) $20
