Brief Summary:
We are planning a full-day Scout BBQ Boat experience on the beautiful Brisbane Waters, departing from Booker Bay (near Ettalong & Woy Woy), NSW Central Coast. Date: Sunday, 8th March 2026 Time: 8:00am – 5:00pm Location: 3a Petit St, Booker Bay NSW 2257 Activity Overview This is a whole-day on-water adventure combining fun, skills development and badgework opportunities. Cost: $60 per Scout Included: • On-board BBQ lunch • Morning snack • Evening snack

 Badgework Opportunities

Scouts will have the opportunity to work towards:

✔ Boating Stage 1 & 2
✔ Aquatics Stage 1–3
✔ Practical water safety awareness
✔ Basic navigation & boating skills

(Requirements will be signed off based on participation and demonstrated skills.)

Activities on the Day
    •    Self-drive BBQ boat experience
    •    Safe swimming (weather permitting)
    •    Snorkelling opportunity
    •    Team-based boating activities
    •    Water safety practice

This is a fantastic opportunity for Scouts to:
    •    Build confidence on the water
    •    Develop teamwork and leadership
    •    Gain practical aquatic skills
    •    Enjoy a memorable outdoor adventure

 What to Bring
    •    Swimmers & towel
    •    Change of clothes
    •    Hat & sunscreen
    •    Refillable water bottle
    •    Closed shoes suitable for boating
    •    Personal medication (if required)

Payment & Cancellation Terms
  • A $10 non-refundable deposit is required to secure your booking.
  • After the closing date, only 50% refund will be available due to non-refundable boat hire fees.
  • Cancellations within 24 hours of the event: No refund
