Brief Summary:

Mo is completing his KSA Adventurous Journey which will involve completing the Six Foot Track. A 4 day, 36km bushwalk commencing at Jenolan Caves, Jenolan and concluding at Megalong Cemetery, Megalong. Participants need to have OAS stage 3 in core skills. It is a great opportunity for Scouts or Venturers with suitable overnight hiking experience. This is not suitable as for those without prior hiking experience.

Additional Information

The hike is being run by Mohammad Ahmed, 1st Kelllyville Venturer, as a King Scout Award Adventurous Journey.

A 4 day, 36km bushwalk commencing at Jenolan Caves, Jenolan and concluding at Megalong Cemetery, Megalong. Participants need to have OAS stage 3 in core skills.

Participants will need to be dropped off by car (car pooling can be organised).

Please note this activity and any registrations are not confirmed until sufficient numbers have been reached. As this is a difficult track a fair fitness is needed and experince of overnight hiking (more than Dragon Skin or Scout Hike ) is necassary, after registration a hiking logbook may be asked for to ensure ability to complete the activity safely. OAS Stage 3 minimum.

An information night for particpants and parents will be run as well as a short practice day hike as a shakedown and skills refresher, attendance to these is necassary to ensure saftey.
