Brief Summary:
As the oldest Gang Show in NSW and the third oldest in Australia, the Kirrawee Gang Show has provided the opportunity to literally thousands of Scouts and Guides from the South Metropolitan Region and beyond to explore their theatrical talents.
This permission cover members attendance at our second rehearsal camp.
The cost for this camp has been covered in the cast fee. You will be invoiced for the cast fee and must have PAID IN FULL prior to the camp
The first weekend of the July school holidays (Jul 4 & 5) is normally given over to tech, and dress rehearsals in the venue. We perform over the first week and middle weekend of the July School Holidays (July 7, 8, 10 & 11).
Additional Information
KGS 2024 Camp 2 Heathcote Scout Training Centre, 8 am Saturday 23rd May – 4 pm Sunday 24th May.
As this is the second Rehersal Camp, we will working the show and a continuous run through on the Sunday. Attendance at this camp is critical to the success of the Show at the theatre.
There will also continue to be large amount of costuming we aim to get done over this weekend so wear clothes you can change in and out of easily.
Saturday Night is Movie Night! Bring your comfy clothes for lounging and watching a movie together.
Catering will be provided for members, including morning and afternoon tea by our experienced kitchen team! Please complete the dietary requirements prior to camp to make our Catering Team's job easier. There will be full supervision at all times and in all rehearsal spaces.
We look forward to a weekend of music, dance and fun. Please make sure you complete the EMS permission for camp ASAP.
Packing list
- NO mess kit required
- Pillow, single fitted sheet, sleeping bag or blankets.
- Toiletries: soap, toothpaste, toothbrush, comb or brush, roll on deodorant
- Suitable clothes for rehearsing in on Sunday
- Pyjamas
- Jumper in case it gets cold
- Enclosed shoes all weekend (thongs for shower)
- Clean underwear
- Towel - everyone will need a shower!
- Cast Manual
- Water bottle
- Raincoat
- Hat - we will be outside at parts
- FULL UNIFORM IS required to be brought to this camp. You dont nned your group scarf.
The cast fee of $240 applies for particpation in the Kirrawee Gang Show cast and covers the cost of this weekend.
- First instalment of $120.00 is due on or before 1st March.
- Second payment of $120.00 is due on or before the 15th April.
