Additional Information

This is an invitation to all Scout members including Youth, Leaders, and those trialling.

All members, will be marching with other organizations to Commemorate ANZAC Day.
They will be forming up at the Richmond RSL Sub - Branch, 24 West Market St, Richmond.

We are to meet at 2:10pm for assembly, and form up for the March which is to commence promptly at 2:30pm.

From here, they will march North along West Market St, turning right into Windsor marching east until East Market St where they will then head south until they enter the Cenotaph area.

They will then attend the ANZAC ceremony.

At the completion of the ceremony, you are invited, by the RSL Sub Branch to return to the Sub Branch Hall, 24 West Market Street, for light refreshments.

During the March, the streets will be officially closed, only opened for the March and spectators. This will be managed by Police.

All Members are to wear full correct uniform with comfortable enclosed shoes and are to complete the E1 prior to marching. New member trialling who don't yet have a scouting shirt uniform are to wear good casual clothing with enclosed shoes.

Scout hats are also to be worn for the March.

Parent's, could you please have a bottle of water on hand, for each of your child, just in case it is a hot day.

All parents are welcomed to attend the ceremony at the cenotaph.

As per previous years The RSL Sub-Branch would like some assistance with minor preparation of the day so if some of our older youth  members could turn up a bit earlier, they would appreciate the help.

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact the Activity coordinator.
