Brief Summary:
Merrylands Ventures will be setting up tents for sleeping outside at the hall. We will be heading via train into city together for dawn service and returning to hall. Tents will come down time permitting between dawn service10:30 service, or after 10:30 service.

.Please have dinner prior to arriving at the hall. feel free to bring snacks to share with your fellow venturers

ANZAC Day Schedule for Ventures 

 Full Scout uniform, including Scout shirt, scarf, cream pants and black shoes to be worn.

1. Travel to City: 2:00 AM – Leaving from Merrylands Train Station

2. Arrive at Cenotaph, Martin Place, Sydney, to watch the official NSW ANZAC Day Dawn Service on 25 April at 4.20 am.  

3. Club Merrylands Bowling 9:00 AM – Breakfast at Club Merrylands Bowling (free for Uniformed Scout members) 10:30 AM – ANZAC Ceremony at Club Merrylands Bowling (we will lay a wreath) 11:00 AM – Event concludes- Requires all ventures to complete the group scout event link

Note: Breakfast is free for uniformed members, but there is an expectation you stay for the ANZAC Ceremony

Pick-up Location: Club Merrylands Bowling or Merrylands Scout Hall (depedning on tent situation). These 2 events will not be completed for Venturers until tents and other equipment at the hall is completely packed up and away.
