Join Fynn & Kate on their adventurous journey hike and paddle in Yuragir National Park.
Additional Information

This is an adventurous journey for Fynn Karam-Witcombe and Kate Kojetin to achieve their King Scout Award.

It is a 4 day, 3 night hike along the Yuraygir Coastal Walk from Friday 10 July - Monday 13 July.

 

We will be starting from Mara Creek Picnic Area at 17:00 on the Friday, and hiking south during the Friday and Saturday to Sandon River Campground. On Sunday 12 July, we will be paddling in the Sandon River (leaders near by to provide supervision). On the final day, Monday 13 July, we will be hiking back north to Lake Arragan and Red Cliff Campgrounds for pickup at 14:00.

Participants of the hike need to have at least Stage 4 in both Canoeing and Bushwalking to attend.

The hike will be supported by leaders, and participants will have a PLB for safety. Equipment list attached.

 

Start: 5pm Mara Creek Picnic Area, Angourie

End: 2pm Red Cliff Campground (near site 59).
