Joeys and Cubs VIVID City Walk

Dear Joey and Cub Families.

On Monday 1st June the Joeys, Cubs and their families will be travelling into the city via bus, walking along the waterside between Barangaroo and Darling Harbour, observing all the lights, sounds and excitement of VIVID, ending the evening watching the spectatular drone show at Darling Harbour. We will then travel back to Baulkham Hills via bus.

Transport and Walking Plan

We will meet at Gooden Reserve Carpark @ 4.50pm in time to catch the 5.07pm 607X Bus to Wynyard arriving @ 5.57pm.

We will then walk from Wynyard Station to Barangaroo via Wynyard Walk, then explore the Vivid Lights between Barangaroo and Darling Harbour before ending at Darling Harbour for the 7.30pm Drone Show and Ice Cream

When the drone show has finished we will then walk to QVB Bus Stop in time to catch the 8.05pm 607x Bus to Gooden Reserve arriving @ 8.38pm

If your unable to make the above bus arrangements, you can still join us in the city via your own transport methods.

What to Bring

All Joeys and Cubs should wear their complete uniform & scarf, along with a backpack containing

• Opal Card with minimum $10, there is no top up facilitied at the bus stop

• Dinner - There will not be the opportunity to purchase dinner, therefore dinner must be brought in your backpack. We will have a dinner picnic down on the water between Barangaroo and Darling Harbour

• Water Bottle

• Warm jumper and/or raincoat

• Change coins for purchase of an ice cream at Darling Harbour
