Welcome, Castaways, to the 1st Kellyville Group Camp 2026 at the Glenfield Scout Activity Centre! In October, the 1st Kellyville Scouts will be transported to a rugged island of adventure, where tribes from all sections—Joeys, Cubs, Scouts, and Venturers—will come together to test their limits, forge new alliances, and master the ultimate outdoor activity skills.

The Mission: Youth-Led Adventure

This camp isn’t just about surviving; it’s about leading. In the true spirit of modern Scouting, the torch of knowledge is being passed directly down the line. Our older tribes will be stepping up to mentor the younger ones, running dynamic, hands-on challenges that test our outdoor skills:

  • Venturers will guide the Scouts through advanced wilderness survival and decision-making.
  • Scouts will step up to challenge and mentor the Cubs in campcraft and pioneering.
  • Cubs will pass on their energy and newfound expertise to lead our youngest castaways, the Joeys.

The Challenge Ahead

From mastering navigation and fire-lighting to conquering team immunity challenges, every section will have the chance to earn their stripes. We will navigate the rugged terrain of Glenfield, learn to work as a cohesive unit, and discover that a tribe's true strength lies in its ability to support every single member.

Pack your sense of adventure, sharpen your outdoor skills, and prepare to work together. Your tribe is waiting.
