The Lake Macquarie District Youth Council is an opportunity for youth members from across the District to come together, share ideas, discuss what is important to them, and help shape the future of Scouting in Lake Macquarie.
This event is open to Joeys, Cubs, Scouts, Venturers and Rovers, with activities and discussions designed to ensure every Section has a voice.
The Youth Council will provide an opportunity to:
• Share ideas for District activities, camps and events.
• Discuss what is working well and what could be improved.
• Meet other youth members from across the District.
• Learn about leadership and youth-led decision-making.
• Help influence the future direction of Scouting within the District.
We want to hear from as many youth members as possible. Whether you have lots of ideas or simply want to learn more about how Scouting works, we encourage you to attend.
