Additional Information

Diversity & Inclusion Conference

The Diversity & Inclusion Conference is an opportunity for Scout leaders and volunteers to come together to learn, share ideas, and build confidence in supporting all young people to participate fully in Scouting.

Through a range of practical workshops and discussions, participants will explore topics including supporting neurodiverse youth members, adapting programs and activities to meet different needs, understanding and responding to behaviours of concern, and creating safe and welcoming environments for everyone.

Sessions will also focus on building cultural awareness and inclusion, understanding the needs of young people from diverse cultural backgrounds, and recognising the value that different experiences and perspectives bring to our Scout Groups.

Whether you are new to Scouting or an experienced leader, the conference will provide practical strategies, resources, and real-world examples that can be applied immediately within your section, Group, or activity team. Most importantly, it is a chance to connect with other volunteers who share a commitment to making Scouting accessible, inclusive, and enjoyable for every young person.
