Brief Summary:
Hunter & Coastal Region and the State Rally Organising Team have arranged subsidised coaches to transport Scouts to and from State Rally at Cataract Scout Park on 7-9 August 2026. Pickup locations and times are included in the event description. NOTE: You first need to register for State Rally - https://events.nsw.scouts.com.au/event/2174. Once registered for State Rally you can use this Scout Event to register for transport.

Friday 7 August 2026 – Departure

Please see below the pickup times and locations.  Please ensure you are at your pickup location at least 20 minutes prior to the allotted time.  The coach has a tight schedule to keep and will not be able to wait if you are running late.

Sunday 9 August 2026 - Arrival

Scouts are due to be picked up from Cataract Scout Park at 14:00hrs.  Please see below the approximate arrival times.  Please note these arrival times may be impacted by traffic conditions.  We will do our best to communicate any updates about arrival times on the Hunter & Coastal Facebook page.  We ask that you are on time to the pickup locations, as there will be no leader supervision.

Other Important Information

Scouts should have dinner on Friday afternoon prior to boarding the bus.  Scouts should bring food for supper that can be eaten when they arrive at Cataract (expected ETA is 8pm at Cataract).  Food cannot be consumed on the coach.

Scouts should wear their uniform to and from State Rally.

Scouts should have a maximum of two bags when they arrive at the Coach:

  • one hiking pack containing all their food and camping equipment for the weekend; and
  • a second small bag that can be taken onto the coach with a jumper, water bottle and book / entertainment for the coach trip.

Venturers may also also bring a chair.
