This course is designed for Cub Scouts who show leadership potential and who are currently a Patrol Leader (Sixer) or Assistant Patrol Leader (Second) or may be considered for these roles in the future.
Cubs should be at least 10 years old and endorsed by their Cub Leader as being a suitable participant.
Please note, this course may change from being face-to-face at Bundilla, to being held online, depending on the Covid-19 restrictions in place on 22 February. If this is the case, all participants will be notified.
To adhere to current Covid-19 restrictions, this course is limited to a maximum of 30 Cubs. To ensure social distancing is followed, families are asked to only have one parent drop off and pick up their child in the car park. Please avoid bringing along sibblings and other family members.
Cubs will need to self cater for this course. They will need to bring a packed lunch, snack and full water bottle in a small back pack. Hand sanitiser will be provided. Due to food allergies, please do not pack any food containing nuts.
Participants will need to have completed the following two pre-work worksheets (available for download in the 'event documents' section) and will need to bring it with them to course:
Cubs are to wear their full Scout uniform, including comfortable enclosed shoes (such as joggers). Cubs will be doing both indoor and outdoor activities during the day and as such will need to bring a wide brimmed hat, water bottle, and suitable clothing depending on the weather (such as windcheater or rain coat).
