Skinmoot - The event to have when Dragon Skin has been cancelled.
This will be a two-day standing camp located at Bundilla Scout Camp. The event will contain both competitive and social activities over the two day and nights. Attendee is expected to participate in the competitive activities of both days. Like skin, you will need to participate in a minimum number of activities on Friday and Saturday but expect a different format to that of other events. As with Skin, social movements will commence at the end of each day with dinner provided each night.
So prepare your team – maximum of 4 people – and ready to enjoy this unique event. And prepare for Dragon Skin 2022…
Event program:
Friday Morning: A series of large activities completed as Scout Districts –
Friday Afternoon: A series of group activities constructed as a venturer unit –
Friday Social – Colour Run – Dinner – Disco/Band (subject to COVID restriction)
Saturday Morning: Team will have the options to complete the minimum or all activity bases.
Saturday Social – Dinner – Disco/Band (subject to COVID restrictions)
Sunday Morning – all campers must leave by 10 am.
Skinmoot – The Competition
Do you wish to go competitive – Participate in all activities on Friday and as a team on Sunday.
Are you want a more social event – You must complete all district activities and a minimum number of activities on Saturday morning.
By the end of the event, we will crown winners in each of the following categories
District – 1st, 2nd & 3rd place
Unit – 1st, 2nd & 3rd place
Team – 1st, 2nd & 3rd place
How will the event be catered: The activity will provide an individual proportioned dinner on both Saturday and Sunday nights, this is contained within the event fee.
Individuals are expected to provide their own Breakfast and Lunch on Friday and Saturday. Please be aware COVID restrictions prevent the sharing of cooking equipment, personnel use of hike stoves is allowed in the designated cooking area. Individual cleaning of equipment is expected. Unit should not bring or use BBQ or camp cookers at this event.
During the event, Hot water and microwave will be available at the Peter Waite building

Assisting during the day: Free
Staying the two days: $25 per person
The Fine Print
This event will be conducted under COVID restriction determined by the NSW Health and Scouts NSW COVID committee. To ensure we comply with conducting all our activities the following restrictions MUST be accepted by all who attend.
# Minimum social distance of 2 people per square meter (subject to change)
# No sharing of food, drink or equipment during the event
# Only one person permitted per tent. Tents will be grouped into units and districts.
# One leader per unit must be present at all time during the event.
# Toilets will be restricted to a maximum number of people at any time.
# Social the events will cease after 11 pm. All venturer will be expected to return to tents.
