The Initiative Course has been part of the Venturer pathway for several years. It can be used to complete the Initiative badge with a current scheme or as part of a Special Interest badge with the New Youth program.

The Initiative Course has been part of the Venturer pathway for several years. It can be used to complete the Initiative badge with a current scheme or as part of a Special Interest badge with the New Youth program.
The course will place participants in groups of up to 5 people who will complete a series of challenges over two days. This event will be held within the Blue Mountains National Park - the exact location will be advised in acceptance letters.
The following COVID and Course restrictions will apply
# Single person per tent -no sharing of tents
# Individual Cooking and meal preparation - no sharing of equipment
# Overnight camping equipment required suitable for cold weather
# At least 3 lt of water for the weekend
