Brief Summary:
The SDI Rescue Diver Course is designed to develop the knowledge and necessary skills to effectively perform diver rescues and assist and administer the necessary first aid in the event of an emergency.
Additional Information

You will learn skills such as how to perform self rescues, buddy rescues, recognize and calm potential panic divers, administer proper first aid to divers that have experienced dive related injuries, conduct effective search patterns and manage accident scenes. After the SDI Rescue Diver Course you can enroll in the SDI Master Scuba Diver Development Program or start in the professional ranks and sign up for the SDI Divemaster Course.

Pre-requisite : SDI Advanced Adventure Diver ( or equivalent ) or an Open Water Diver qualification with 40 logged Open Water dives

Those under 15 years of age will earn the SDI Junior Rescue Diver qualification - this can be converted to the SDI Rescue Diver qualification on reaching 15 years of age

Please complete the medical questionnaire. If you answer yes to If to questions 3, 5 or 10 OR to questions on page 2, you will need to complete a medical in order to undertake this course
