The NSW Scouts Air-Team (https://air.nsw.scouts.com.au/program/activityday-regionalnsw/) are flying up to Casino Aerodrome to offer North Coast Region Scouts/Venturers/Rovers the chance to experience flying in a small 4 seater aircraft.
The weekend will include a variety of activities related to flying, as well as visits to the RFS and SES. The will also be many opportunities to get badge work signed off.
Participants will be camping at Casino Aero Club (https://goo.gl/maps/c4S1pGpwSvfz9ATG7) This is a fully catered camp so all food and drink will be provided, this includes - from Friday Supper to Sunday Lunch.
The camping area will be open for set up from 15:00 Friday.
PARTICIPANTS NEED TO BRING - - Full scout uniform + standard equipment for a "Standing" camp
Cost - leaders/parent helpers who are not flying - $35.00 (food, badge, camping)
Cost - flying participants - $140 (food, badge, camping, flight).
Refund policy: - If event is cancelled due to bad weather forecast - Full Refund (minus $5 admin) - Event goes ahead, but participant misses out on flight (due to air team unable to offer flight) - Refund of $85. Participant cancellation: - Before 1st August - full refund (less $5 admin fee) - Before 8th August - half refund (less $5 admin fee) - After 16th August - No refund (planes booked, food purchased)
