Brief Summary:
RASOREE is an Region All Section Camp for the North Coast. It will be a great weekend, coming out of COVID and having some great fun.
Additional Information

RASOREE is the first All Section Camp held in the North Coast for a very long time.

This will be a time to have some fun, meet new friends and celebrate our Region for the past 12 months at the Region ARP.

CAMP OVERVIEW

The camp will have many different activities for all, Joey's through to Venturer's and everyone in between.

During the day you could be Zipping along the Zip Line, tackiling the climbing Wall, racing Billy Carts around the Eagle Eye Track, becoming Robin Hood and shooting the arrow into the target and many more exciting activities.

As the sun sets, we will all be celebrating the Region ARP, this will be a time to reflex on such a wierd and wonderful year that we had Scouting during COVID.

As the stars rise above us, we can sit back and enjoy a movie under the stars.

Scouts and Venturers will be able to dance and rock the night away at a Disco in the bush.

WHO CAN COME??

The camp is open to all registered Youth and Adult members.

All parent helpers will need to have filled out a A2 and WWCC prior to coming to camp. Please speak with your Group Leaders  if you need help doing this.

All members must remain financial and registered within Scout Link from the time applications close until the end of the event.

All service and line leaders over the age of 18 must be cleared by Scouts Australia NSW to work with children and young people prior to the start of the camp. This includes any adult helpers who must have submitted an A2 form and been accepted by the group prior to the event closing date.

CAMPING

Groups will organise their own camping and cooking for the weekend. Camping will be similar to Region Cub Camp. If smaller groups would like to buddy up that is fine. Please let the event coordinator your camping buddies for site allocations.

Venturers will have their own campsite, but will be eating with their home groups.

Sleeping in tents will be 1 person to 2 square metres as per COVID Rules. for example if your tent is 3m x 2m, that means you will be able to have 3 people to a tent.

If you have more family members attending the camp, family members are allowed to share tents regardless of gender and section.

Camping and Catering will be subject to stringent COVID restrictions at all times (See COVID-19 Considerations below).

ACTIVITY BASES and CAMPING

We will need help from Leaders and Parent helpers during the weekend.

This may be from helping on an activity base or helping the Camping team with duties around the campsite.

You can help out for a couple of hours all all weekend.

COVID-19 Considerations

We are excited to be running RASOREE and hope that you will join us for this weekend. However as with all activities currently being planned for 2021 and into the future, we need to take into account the evolving situation with the COVID-19 Pandemic. This means that there will be changes to how we run RASOREE, up to and including having to cancel this event at short notice. Please regularly check back to this page where we will provide any updates on how COVID will affect our ability to run RASOREE.
