Brief Summary:
This activity is a canyoning adventure through Macquarie Pass canyon and is suitable for Venturers, Rovers and Leaders.
Additional Information
The canyon follows the Macquarie Rivulet down the escarpment. There are 4 abseils, a number of jumps, swimming and creek walking. It is quite different to the typical Blue mountains slot canyon, being more of a creek gorge. The canyon itself is very pretty and involves a relatively short 30min walk in through rainforest.
All participants must have current Level 1 Abseiling accreditation, have some experience in canyons and be sufficiently fit to complete the walk in/out of 2-3km's each way.
