Come and explore the beautiful North Coast Regional Botanical Gardens located in the center of Coffs Harbour. Joeys will be taken on a guided tour through the different garden areas which include a sensory garden, native flora, a Japanese friendship garden and many more. Joeys will be able to explore over 5 kilometers of Garden walks such as the Nature Trail, Mangrove Boardwalk and the Garlambirla Creek Walk where Joeys will be able to learn about plants that were important resources for the Gumbaynggirr people. There are maps and directional signs throughout the Garden, as well as benches, drinking fountains, and picnic tables. Participants will be able to pack a picnic lunch or purchase light refreshments from the cafe. All participants will be expected to follow the Australian Scout Promise and Law at all times and Covid social distancing requirements. Joeys will need: Full uniform Covered shoes Widebrim hat sunscreen Drink bottle.
