Northern Rivers Joey Day Out

Northern Rivers Joey units are invited to come along for a day at The Peach Farm. Joeys will get to experience a working farm, stroll through the Peach orchard and make friends with the farm animals which include sheep, goats, pigs, dogs, chooks, ponies, turkeys, alpacas, peacocks and more. Included in the cost is access to the animals, a bag of food, sausage sizzle, juice and fresh fruit for the Joey scouts. There is a cafe on-site and The Peach Store for local produce and locally made products to purchase. Please be advised that The Peach Farm don't have disabled toilets or baby changing facilities. Entrance to The Peach Farm is 1km North of the Iluka Turnoff. Look for the sign in the paddock and that's where you turn. All participants will be expected to follow the Australian Scout Promise and Law at all times and Covid social distancing requirements. Participants will need to: wear full scout uniform wear covered shoes wear a wide brim hat bring and apply sunscreen.
