Brief Summary:
Let's refresh our skills on flat water kayaks before the season to take the youth on kayaks starts.
This day out is purely a teaching and upskills day. There will be NO skills assessment.
An assessment day will take place at a later date this year.
Additional Information
A day of practising flatwater kayaking skills. You need to be L1 flat water kayaker as a minimum.
We will be covering Aquatic Rescues and Deep Water Rescues.
Also covered will be basic Paddling skills.
Kayaks will be provided but if you have your own and want to use it let me know.
You will need to bring your lunch, snacks and water. Be prepared to get wet as we will practice rescues and anything else you want to practice... Towing anyone?
You will be asked to provide proof of Covid 19 full vaccination.
