The Grand Pacific Walk follows the coastline from the Royal National Park to Wollongong. This scenic walk is currently being established by Wollongong City Council.
This walk takes in some breathtaking views of the Pacific Ocean, Coast and Escarpment as it winds its way through a number of picturesque villages.
The walk itself is easy grade on sealed pavement and road easement of Lawrence Hargrave Drive.
There are a number of landmarks and interesting features including the iconic Sea Cliff Bridge. The route is just on 30 km over two days. 13.9 km from Otford to Austinmer and 16.0 from Austinmer to Wollongong.
Our overnight stay will be at the Austinmer Scout Hall located on Moore Street. ** There is a fee of $20 per person for inside accomodation and facilities to be paid on the day **. Self catering applies and public transport is available to and from the venue.
