Brief Summary:
Day Visit for Cubs and Joeys
Additional Information

This Years theme will be Back to Camping skills

A great day out for Joeys and Cubs to visit the South Met Region Annual Camp for Scouts. This is a great opportunity to participate in events and activities that are traditionally catered to the older sections and to experience a day as a Scout.

Try slack lining, The Ninja Line, and much more!

There are water activities where Joys and Cubs will probably get wet. If you intend to allow your Joey or Cub to participate in water activities we recomend you bring along a full change of clothes (shoes too) and a towel!

THE DETAILS

Region Camp IS happening on the June long weekend,   June 10-13.
Joeys and Cubs can attend visitors day on Sunday 12th

There will be mini buses doing transport in from Waterfall railway station from 8:30am on Sunday and will continue till 11am.
The walk in track will be checked following the rain this week and we will keep you informed here.

Activities are wide and varied and will be run by Scouts supported by Venturers, run by groups on or near each campsite.

Groups will be self led, would suggest maybe joeys and cubs go around together if your whole group is there.  All visitors will need to check in at the Cub

Shelter on arrival as a group. No specific time (as it suits you) Maps and activity details will be given to you as you register.

Lunch – suggest BYO or arranged with your home troop to cater for you to have back on your site 12-1pm. There MAY be drinks and sweets on sale at the canteen but dont count on it – these will be confirmed later (hasnt been arranged)

Be sure to bring your all weather back pack - raincoat, hat, drink bottle x 2.
