This is a canoe workshop aimed at Venturers/Rovers/Leaders who are trying to gain flatwater canoe qualifications, and for Venturers/Rovers/Leaders that need to attend a "rescue skills" day to keep their qualifications current.

You will need to provide the following:

1. PFD Level 50

2. Canoe if you have one.

3. Sun protection, including a hat.

4. Enclosed footwear.

5. Lunch and food for the day.

6. Pen and your current log for Canoeing.

7. Change of Clothes as you will be getting wet.

All PFD's and Canoes will need to be approved by the Activity Organiser before they can be used.

Canoes can be hired at a cost of $20 for the day - this *MUST* be arranged prior to the event. If you're uncertain that your equipment satiates current Scout standards please communicate early so we can ensure we have sufficient suitable equipment on the day.
