Teams will be asked to find clues and solve questions located at various places across the city. The activity will start at Belmore Park near Central Railway Station and teams will then receive instructions on where to proceed.
The event is open to linking Scouts, Venturers and Rovers, and Leaders if they wish to attend. Teams will be formed from applicants on the day.
Bring water, snacks, hat, sunscreen and come prepared to cooler weather if forecast. Wear your scarf and comfortable shoes suitable for physical activity. Lunch is not provider. Also bring an Opal Card with enough credit to meet the daily fare cap and you will need a mobile phone and a battery would be a great idea. Some additional point activities might require you to purchase one or two small items.
Everyone has teh right to feel safe and no-one is allowed to make you feel uncomfortable, unsafe or afraid. If you have any concerns, please speak to a Leader, Rover or one of the organisers of the activity. You may prefer to report your concerns directly to the Child Protection Team at NSW State Office on 02 9735 9000 or at childprotection@nsw.scouts.com.au or your parents.
We are excited to be running Look Wide 2022 and hope that you will join us for this great activity. However as with all activities currently being planned for 2022 and into the future, we need to consider any evolving public health & safety situation. This means that there will be changes to how we run Look Wide this year, up to and including having to cancel this event at short notice. Please regularly check back to this page where we will provide any updates on how any current public health and safety measures will affect our ability to run Look Wide .
Please do not attend Look Wide 2022:
