The course is run by the South Met Activities team and retired SAR proffessionals

We will be running a series of Search and Rescue exercises. Some  participants will have the chance to coordinate the command centre while others can conduct a grid seach in the field.

You will need

  1. Food for out in the field.
  2. Field note book and pencil
  3. 3m of small cord for lashings and a light tarp or hoochie.

The exercises will be conducted over a three and a half square km area in the Camp Coutts region.

At times the walking may be demanding and through scrub and off track
