Brief Summary:
An overnight bushwalk for Cubs - this is intended for older Cubs with some bushwalking experience, who can walk for 4-5 hours.
Additional Information

Starting at Cowan Station, the Cubs will walk to Camp Windeyer (Crosslands) via Berowra Waters (14km). We will camp overight, before a shorter Day 2 when we walk up to Mt Ku-ring-gai Station (6km).

Start: 8:45am Gordon station for 9:06am train to Cowan via Hornsby
Finish: 11am at Mt Ku-ring-gai station / 11:45am Gordon station

What to bring on bushwalk

  • Small daypack
  • Water bottle/s (1L)
  • Hat
  • Raincoat
  • Snacks
  • Lunch (Day 1)
  • Opal Card

What to pack for camp

  • Sleeping bag
  • Change of clothes / dry clothes
  • Towel
  • Mess kit
  • Tent - can be provided if needed
  • Sleeping mat
  • Head-torch

What will be provided

  • Dinner on Saturday
  • Breakfast on Sunday
  • Camping fee (to cover cost of Windeyer)

We will need some parent volunteers to drop-off (Sat) / pick up (Sun) camping gear to/from Camp Windeyer.
