Venturers, you are invited to attend this hands-on, fully-catered camp where you will enjoy a range of practical environmental activities designed to help you plan projects for the Community or Outdoor Challenge Areas or the Environment Special interest Area.

Stay in the picturesque Berrima Scout Camp right next to the Wingecarribee River, a natural habitat for many native animals and a great place for water activities of all sorts. https://humescouts.com/berrimasc/berrima-scout-camp-features/ 

Learn about water bugs and water monitoring, spot some endangered birds, assist with weed management from canoes and on land, learn about the local platypus population, visit the local waste recovery centre, fish for carp, swim, socialise and much more!

Sessions will be conducted by a variety of experts and enthusiasts.

Arrival - Please arrive in uniform at Berrima between 6.00 and 7.00pm on Friday, after having had some dinner.  Opening Parade is at 7.15pm.

Directions -   Berrima Scout Camp is located in Apple Street Berrima. Not to be confused with the Berrima public camping ground which is at the bottom of Oxley Street.  From the Old Hume Hwy, turn into Oxley Street. Then turn first right into Argyle Street and left into Apple Street ( It looks like Mandemar Rd). The entrance is on the left a reasonable distance down Apple St and is sign-posted on the left.
