You are invited to take part in our Region Walk-a-thon and help raise money for your Scout Group while having fun and working on your Achievement Pathway.
All participants will earn a special event badge!
Before the event
On the day
You will need to bring…
Please make sure that your name is on everything, so lost property can be returned to you.
The Walk-a-thon starts at 9am but you can start walking anytime, as long as you complete your walk before 2pm. How long you want to walk is entirely up to you - the more distance covered, the more money you raise for your Group.
Your water bottle can be topped up at the registration tent, throughout the day. The Region First Aid Team will be on duty.
Your family is invited along to support you, participate or just have a fun day out in the park.
After the event
Collect money from your sponsors and hand to your leader, along with your Sponsorship Card at your next unit meeting.
