Objective:
The purpose of the Competition Camp is to recognise the skills of the Scouts in a fun activity.
The Camp will be a success if every Patrol displays a reasonable level of competence and has a feeling of accomplishment, has a good time interacting with Scouts from across the District, learn how to do things differently and perhaps better, and are enthused to return next year.
We will also have the pleasure of the Hawkesbury District Scouts joining us for their inaugural District Competition Camp.
Description:
Each Patrol will be allocated a 20m x 10m site.
The Patrols will be scored on how they set-up their site, prepare Saturday dinner, Sunday breakfast and lunch, then pack-up without assistance from any adults. Additionally, the Patrols will compete in a campfire skit and song competition on Saturday night.
Patrol Leaders should review both the Patrol Leader information sheet and scoring sheets - links on the event registration page.
