“Unwritten – The Future is Ours”

Join us for a creative and action-packed June Long Weekend at the Armidale Gang Show Camp, presented jointly by 2nd Armidale Scouts and Armidale Girl Guides. This unique two-night, patrol-based indoor camp celebrates the performing arts and the imagination of young people, built around the theme “Unwritten – The Future is Ours.”

Held inside the purpose-built performing arts facilities at O'Connor Catholic College, participants will enjoy indoor camping to stay warm through the winter while taking part in two full days of creative activity bases designed to build skills, confidence, and teamwork.

Youth members will rotate through a range of exciting performing arts workshops including:

• Theatre sports and improvisation
• Costume and textiles design
• Circus skills
• Skit writing and performance
• Instrumental item
• Digital production techniques
• Stage make-up and character creation

Throughout the weekend, patrols will collaborate to develop performances and creative pieces that will come together in a final Gang Show performance for parents and families on Monday afternoon.

Open to Scouts and Girl Guides of all youth sections, this camp is a fantastic opportunity to try something new, build friendships across organisations, and experience the fun and creativity of a Gang Show.

There will be filming and photography through out the weekend, therefore this is not a suitable event for anyone who does not wish to be photographed or filmed - By registering, you consent to media use for promotional purpose​.

When: June Long Weekend – Saturday to Monday

Who: Youth members of all ages in Scouts and Girl Guides
Accommodation: Indoor camping for warmth and comfort - You will need to supply a camp matress, sleeping bag and pillow.
