Get ready to HOP into Action and HOWL with Excitement
SCT Region are running a Cub & Joey OAS Camping & Bushcraft Camp
Your cubs and joeys will go home having completed a large chunk of their requirements, leaders can then finalise what's left on a section night and give them their badges. We will be having a huge campfire on Saturday night and each group will be required to show up with a skit or song, so get yourselves sorted, I want to be amazed and entertained. (I'll require you guys to tell me what you plan on performing, so we don't have 10 invisible bench skits or even 5 poor pebbles being thrown into the river)
The camp is fully catered so leaders will only need to bring the tents to house the girls and boys separately, along with a fully stocked 1st Aid Kit per group. Each group needs a certificated 1st Aider who will be carrying the 1st aid kit around with them.
Leaders will maintain the correct child to adult ratios whilst maintaining 2 deep leadership by utilising accredited Adult Helpers.
Joeys - One Adult per 5 Joeys (1:5)
Cubs - One Adult per 8 Cubs (1:8)
Leaders, please ensure that any Adult helpers understand that they will be required to help and not hover. Any spare Adult helpers or Section leaders will be required to nominate themselves to help run activities or join the amazing cooking team.
Only Adult Helpers who have been registered on ScoutHub are able to attend, if they haven't started their online form then they should start the process ASAP. There is a download which has the steps needed to be taken.
It will be cold at night, I can't stress this enough. Please remind the parents of this. I have a suggested gear list but forgot to add a chair on that, for sitting around the campfire on Saturday night.
Once you have submitted your registration, an invoice (summary sheet) will be generated with instructions on how to pay for this event. The following payment options will be available to you:
Credit/Debit Card and EFT
